Bible Gateway's Verse of the Day
A daily word of exultation.
  • 2 Timothy 1:13-14

About usThis emerging congregation now owns 66 choice acres at the intersection of three major highways, I-65, Superhighway 840, and Lewisburg Pike. Considered by some experts to be the best location in this state for a church, the campus includes ½ mile of frontage on I-65, plus frontage on Lewisburg Pike (immediately adjacent the I-65/840 entrance/exit ramp. Construction of the new Worship Center on Lewisburg Pike is now beginning.

Name: “GraceLand” simply means "land of grace". The story of God’s grace, God’s unmerited favor, love, and mercy, is the sweetest sound ever heard. Our picturesque campus, a graceful hillside, one of the area’s choicest properties, is the perfect setting for a loving, spirit-filled church, appropriately named “GraceLand”.

Place of Worship: Until the grand opening of the new Worship Center, we are blessed to worship in the Residence Club in Tollgate Subdivision. Tollgate is adjacent to Independence High School (Columbia Avenue at 840).

Service Times: Bible Study 9:30 a.m., Sunday Worship 10:30 a.m., at Tollgate; Sunday night Home Prayer Meetings 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday Bible Study at the Executive Offices, 7:00 p.m.

Vision: We commit ourselves to be a movement of aggressive soul-winning and discipleship. Our unique model of multilingual Christian education for children and youth, beginning with the nursery, has one chief aim – to mold our sons and daughters into advanced Bible scholars.

Mission: To know Christ and make Him known.

History: About ten years ago, Ralph & Diane Duncan began praying with friends about the need for a dynamic Full Gospel church in this fast growing county. This group of dedicated visionaries have prayed together and worshipped together, all the while, buying property and “gathering the materials and resources” necessary to develop this vision. With GraceLand’s Worship Center underway, the time of GraceLand’s “unveiling” to the community has come!

Worship Style: Spirit-filled, celebrative music and relevant Bible teaching/preaching.

Affiliation: We are a Bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled congregation made up of many denominations. In that sense, we consider ourselves Interdenominational. In the planning stages, we felt the need to affiliate with a mainstream, spirit-filled, international church fellowship which would give us an infrastructure of higher Christian education, youth and children's programs, and worldwide missions. We chose to affiliate with the Assemblies of God, considered by experts to be the most effective and efficient world mission’s enterprise in the history of Christianity. It is listed as the fastest growing church fellowship in the world, having grown worldwide from 18 million to 62 million members in the past twenty years.

Minister: Ralph Duncan, at the age of twenty, founded Trinity Assembly in Decaturville, Tennessee. During his eighteen years as pastor, the church became known as “the church bigger than the town” and is widely cited as a model of church growth. He was the first ordained minister in Tennessee History elected to the Tennessee House of Representatives. For ten years, he traveled the nation as a guest Evangelist, leading some of the most notable local church revivals of our time. His meetings were often extended to continue weeks and even months. The membership of some host churches doubled in a single revival crusade.
